How to Stay Unbothered

We are over the moon to introduce to your our new blog, Life Unbothered. From fashion tips and tricks to lifestyle posts all dedicated to being that unbothered bitch you've always wanted to be. To kick off the blog, we are here to discuss exactly how to embrace a truly unbothered lifestyle. 

Unbothered Definition

It's 2020 and it's time to stop letting what others say and think alter how you live your life; this is your life, and no one else's! You are your own unique person, and that's something magical that needs to be embraced to the fullest.

What does it mean to be "unbothered"? 

To start off, you have to understand that being unbothered is all about not caring what others think, embracing who you are, wearing what you want, and saying how you feel.

How do you start living unbothered?

Focus on yourself.

The best way to be unbothered is to focus on yourself. There will always be someone who has negative comments to make about you or your life. What you have to remember is that it's your life, not their's. Focus on what makes you happy and don't let what others say or think get to your head. It's completely impossible to please everyone, so to be blunt... don't be bothered enough to even try. By focusing more on yourself, you'll be able to grow to become to best version of yourself. Now's the perfect time to say goodbye to any negative energy in your life, because we are here for positive vibes only!

Pick your battles.

Some things and people in life are truly not worth the fight. Choose what's worth fighting for and put your all into it. If you feel it's not worth the fight, then leave it be. It's important to never lose your sense of peace.

It's all about confidence.

Confidence is key! Even if you have to "fake it til you make it". If you like an outfit, but are scared it may be a little "different" or "out there"... wear that freaking outfit and own it. No doubt about it, that people will be giving you looks in public thinking "wow I wish I could pull that off". 

Open up.

One of the most important pieces of advice we can give is to not act unbothered if something truly is bothering you. To live an unbothered and positive life you have to communicate with those around you and/or let out your feelings. Whether you want to have an open discussion with someone or keep a small journal to spill all the feels, it's important to not hold anything in.
